Which style of Yoga will I learn?
We teach a multi-style yoga based on the traditional Hatha, Vinyasa Flow (both traditional and modern), and Iyengar Yoga Alignments. We present you with a few of the most popular Yoga styles, explaining their principles, rules and sequences. We will teach you how to modify asana practice in case of particular health problems, or according to the different aims of your clients.
Which style of Yoga can I teach after your course?
After our course you will be able to prepare a complete asana practice in one of the styles mentioned above. You can teach either all of them, or if you have a very strong preference – you can focus on only one of them. We don’t force you to anything, the choice is always yours. Our certificate is registered as a multi-style yoga school, so after our training you will become a multi-style instructor We will help you to grow as a yoga teacher in any direction you would like to grow.
Is the course taught in English?
Yes. All the classes, practical as well as theory and the course material is English.
Will there be a written and practical exam at the end of the course?
Yes, you will be assessed in both written and teaching evaluation exams at the end of the course.
How do I register for yoga teacher training course?
Submit your application by email on marketing@yogavimoksha.com, Once your application is processed, we’ll send you a mail asking you to pay £200 as booking amount through Banking Channels or through offline credit cards ( MasterCard / Visa). Please note that booking amount is a non-refundable advance towards the course fee with an option to switch from one batch to another within 12 months of your current booking. Remaining fee needs to be paid after your arrival at our centre.
Can I use my credit card to pay the remaining course fee in Goa?
Yes. We do accept all credit card payments except Amex cards for booking amounts. Remaining fees can be paid either in cash or by TCs. You can also use your ATM debit cards (Master/Visa/Electron) to withdraw cash in Goa, India.
How much do I need to pay for food and accommodation?

Arrival & Departure
01 day before starting of the course, your stay at our center is complimentary. In order to attend the orientation program, one should arrive at least a day before starting of the course by 3 p.m. On the last day of the course, the graduation ceremony finishes by 9 p.m., therefore, departure should be planned one day after completion of the course.
Which kind of visa do I need to apply for?
You should apply strictly for a tourist visa and the purpose of your visit to India should be travel or tourism (Yoga and Ayurveda retreats in Goa etc.). Invitation letter is not required for tourist visa. Contact details of Indian embassy in your country can be found here.

How can I reach Vimoksha Yoga from Goa Airport?
We do provide airport pick up and drop facility from Goa airport to the Vimoksha Yoga academy. The cost of a pick up / drop facility will be £60. You will have to provide us with the arrival details of your flight.
Do I need to bring my own yoga mat, linen etc.?
Yes. you have to bring your own mat. You will have to bring things which are personal in nature e.g. towels, toiletries, mobiles, camera, laptops etc. Also you will have to carry some casual clothes which you are comfortable in.
What is dress code for the yoga class?
The ideal dress code is t shirts and pajamas/ track pants.
Weather in Goa & recommended clothing?
The weather in Goa is pleasant through out the year, however during the monsoon season it does get humid at times. The most suitable clothing would be light, loose cotton clothes. Tight fitting thick clothes should be avoided.
Vaccinations
Any particular vaccination is not required. Bringing mosquito repellants, lotions etc. are recommended.
How many students are registered in each batch of TTC?
Up to 20 students in a batch for TTC
I am vegan and I need to know if that would be a problem concerning the food that you serve?
Food provided at our center is 100% vegetarian ( satwik) but not vegan(Containing milk products), However Vegan food can be arranged if notification for the same is given in advance.
